The GT9 uses the silo-type combustor arrangement of the ABB / Alstom heavy-duty line. Burner hardware, combustor liners, tile carriers and heat shield tiles differ by frame revision and by any conversion or uprate already applied to the unit. ZURN Power manufactures GT9 compressor rotor blades and stator vanes in 12Cr martensitic stainless steels (X20Cr13 / 1.4313), 17-4PH and titanium alloys, plus diaphragms and seal strips, and rotor spacers and coupling hardware in 26NiCrMoV145 / 1CrMoV and IN718 — strictly to drawing. Blades are batch-inspected for profile, root fit and balance, supporting both full rotor overhauls and single-stage replacements.
